Released in November 1995 in the United States and shortly afterward globally, this title showcases the series' hallmark of engaging gameplay amplified by impressive 3D graphics unique to the Saturn. Celebrated Japanese baseball star Hideo Nomo lends his name and presence to the Japanese version, enhancing its appeal and connecting to the international baseball community. This installment stands apart from earlier entries on the Sega Mega Drive and Game Gear, marking a fresh start under the working title Grand Slam Baseball.
